The Exodus of Black Men From The Democrat Party

I am reposting a commentary from fellow America Free News Network columnist Marcus Watkins. As the nation hurtles toward November 5 and the most critical presidential election in my lifetime, we see a sea change in America’s political demography. In this election, not only more Blacks but Hispanics are leaving the Democrat Party Plantation and moving to the GOP. In his persuasive and lucid commentary, Watkins explains why this transformation is happening.

The Exodus of Black Men From The Democrat Party

by Marcus Watkins

There has been a lot of talk about Black men this election cycle. Black men are still the Democratic party’s second most loyal voting bloc. Still, the left’s hostility toward masculinity and embrace of the matriarchy is causing a lot of Black men to reconsider whom they are voting for. The primary vocation of Black men is “voter,” not father, husband, coach, or mentor for the left. Black men are noticing and are no longer putting up with the disrespect.

Black people, particularly Black men, are more vocal than ever about their criticism of the Democrat Party and their support for Trump. If you haven’t heard it in person, all it takes is just a quick scroll on X (formerly Twitter), and you are likely to find more people than ever voicing their disgust with the current Democrat party and their support for former President Trump. The most interesting thing is that these are everyday “Black people,” not your well-known Black conservative influencers with thousands of followers that we are used to seeing.

I believe we are seeing a major political shift happening in real-time. I’ve been saying for quite some time now (at least 5 or 6 years) that Black men’s vote (as a voting block) is up for grabs. It’s good that Republicans are finally starting to see. But the Democrats are, too. The gender gap issue is real. If we had taken Black men as a voting block seriously, I doubt that this election would look as close as it does. Hence, this is why you see the Democrat party making these recent awkward pitches toward men to try and get their votes in the final weeks leading to the election. Here’s the thing: for the people we see speaking out in opposition against the Democrat Party, there are probably four to five more people on the fence who are silent but feel somewhat the same way.

I want to make something very clear. These Black men aren’t walking away from the Democrat Party because they’re in their feelings. They’re not walking away from the Democrat Party because they’re somehow misinformed and they’re being fooled. The “everyday” Black man has been invisible to the Democrat Party for quite some time now. So what is happening is that Black working-class men simply are realizing that the politics of the so-called political left in the United States does not serve them and, by extension, does not serve their Black families or our Black communities.

Today’s Democrat party would rather see and prioritize a Black man in a dress so they can tokenize them and use them for their so-called social justice narratives than prioritize a hard-working Black man with a family. Black men see this and are getting fed up. Thus, they are making the logical decision to do what is best for them and their family.

I know it’s very easy to try to scapegoat Black men as being somehow emotional because, typically, Democrats can only understand masculinity through this lens of emotionalism. One of the reasons why I think they view masculinity through this lens of emotionalism is feminism.

They look at anything masculine as being something toxic or something dangerous. The one thing the left doesn’t realize is that masculine men don’t really care so much about feelings, at least not as much as they care about the facts.

When you’re dealing with the Democrat party, you’ll notice that most of the men tend to broker in “feelings” just like the women. They tend to be sassy, buck-broken beta males who secretly hold resentment toward Black society. I suppose it is a byproduct of the agenda they are pushing. Their clear disdain of men is so vehement that it’s unexpectedly turning a lot of independents and ancestral moderate Democrats against them.

So this heavy investment into this notion that somehow Black men are walking away from the Democrat party strictly in protest is wrong and shows how disconnected from reality many of these people in this party are that continue to make this claim day-in-and-day-out.

I’ve talked to many of these men while on the campaign trail doing outreach, and the ones that have walked away from the Democrats told me that they have no intention to come back to this party that barely sees their existence, and when they do, they look down on them.

Black men are more MAGA than ever

One thing that is crystal clear is that Black men who are choosing to vote for Donald Trump this election cycle or just choosing not to vote for Kamala Harris have nothing to do with a protest. They’ve looked at the information before them and made a concrete decision based on practical analysis. They have decided that voting for Kamala Harris and the Democrats is not a good investment, plain and simple. It’s not a good investment to vote for the Democrat party and agenda. As all of you know, there’s no room for feelings when you are doing an objective analysis of something.

So, as the Democrat party continues to insult Black men and shame them for walking away from the Democrat party, all they are doing is showing their intellectual laziness and their outsized investment into feelings and emotions, as well as soft bigotry of low expectations.

The Democrat Party is very good at taking women, particularly Black women, and trying to promote and elevate them to the head of relationships, homes, and government.

Unfortunately, the indoctrination campaign of the Democrat Party for the past sixty-plus-years has led most political decisions by Black people in the direction of feelings. The easiest way to get people to behave illogically is by having them invest most of their political capital in feelings. Well, things are changing, and this is a GRAND opportunity for us Republicans to voluntarily associate and invite these disenfranchised people under the “umbrella” of our tent who have the same values and principles.

I hope that this article somewhat gives a breakdown and understanding as to why Black men are leaving the Democrat Party in droves. A lot of Black men aren’t interested in Kamala Harris’s 11th-hour economic plan that she is now trying to put forth to buy our vote. She claims that this plan will bring financial sustainability to the Black community. No thanks, Kamala, we’re not interested.

It doesn’t matter if they bring in your “BIG GUN,” Barack Obama, to come out, chastise, and lecture us like political children to get us to behave like sheep and do what “Masta” says. We’re not falling for it. Times are changing.

We’re simply not interested. They can continue to try to appeal to the feelings and the emotions of the unlearned. Still, more and more Black people (particularly Black men) will continue to make logical decisions and stand up as the adults in the room in a time where we are facing an imminent threat to not only the freedoms of American citizens but the sovereignty of this country.

The issues that we are facing and care about are much bigger than just racism, drug use, and jail. Black men are concerned about the real things that affect our communities and the rest of the country. We are not illiterate children. The pandering isn’t working anymore because people are waking up.

This…trying to deliver politics to us through this “mammy ideology” that tells us that we must just shut up and follow Black women isn’t going to work.

It’s wild when you hear people like Sonny Hostin on The View talking about the need to appeal to white women who voted overwhelmingly for Trump, appeal to the Cuban men who voted overwhelmingly for Trump, and the “CRAZY, RIDICULOUS BLACK MEN WHO VOTED FOR TRUMP.” It shows the level of contempt that these leftists have for us Black men. It shows their true colors of REAL anti-blackness. This is obvious to us now (not just to Black men, but to women who care about Black men and their families and their children).

We have come to realize that the priorities of the Democrat Party are to prioritize what they call “reproductive rights.” Still, for some reason, those reproductive rights only apply to abortion. This was made clear by the death bus they had in the parking lot at the DNC.

We also understand that the Democrat Party stands as completely antithetical to the ideology and the spiritual beliefs of Black people when it comes to rearing and indoctrinating their children. We don’t believe that the government should have the right to tell our children that our boys can be girls, our girls can be boys, that boys can play girls’ sports. We don’t believe that minors should be allowed to make lifelong, permanent decisions without their parents’ involvement. We are not in agreement with this predatory nature, this weird obsession that Democrats have with adultifying children.

Their politics are foul and demonic. We do not want to continue in this direction anymore. So, for these “blackface” Democrats who have decided that they want to shame Black men or somehow question our Blackness because we refuse to stand in solidarity and in lockstep with liberals, we see you for who you are. We see that you are the true traitors to your race.

You know, the sad reality is that Black people in this country overwhelmingly live their lives as conservatives, yet they vote nearly every election overwhelmingly with liberals. They vote against their best interests. We need to start asking ourselves, why are they doing this? Why is this happening? Also, we have to consider the possibility that too many have been fooled and manipulated, and more and more Black people have identified that manipulation and are not gonna fall for it anymore and are ready for change.

So the current trend shows that many Black men are more than willing to break away and vote against the Democrat Party, to vote differently than the women in our lives whom we love and cherish so much (whether it is our wives, mothers, sisters, cousins, or aunts). We understand what is at stake and that they often broker too much in “feelings” instead of truth and reality. We are men who want to be leaders and lead our families, communities, and the next generation in the right direction and into prosperity.

I pray and hope these women will come around with enough time because many of them, like ourselves, believe in family, country, love for children, and community. Stay tuned for the revolution because it will likely not be televised.
