The world knows that Donald Trump won the 2024 presidential election in a landslide, exposing Kamala Harris as the inept leftist political novice she is.
Unfortunately, Trump’s arduous election campaign will perhaps be the easiest thing he does during the next four years.
Because waiting in the political swamp that he is about to enter lurks the deceitful and biased mainstream media as well as an entrenched army of Trump-hating bureaucrats determined to undermine him at every turn.
Like the vicious swamp creatures they are, they are preparing themselves to pounce as soon as Trump steps foot in Washington.
Pay attention because it will be an extraordinary transformation that the media creatures undergo.
For four years, the legacy media played defense, doing the job the Democrat Party assigned them to do. Their job was simple—protect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris at all costs. Cover up their ineptness, their blunders, their fatuous policies on immigration, the economy, energy, and foreign policy, and, of course, Joe Biden’s diminishing mental state.
The media performed skillfully in their duplicitous role as Biden’s guardian, hiding the president’s worsening dementia and Harris’s incompetence.
Now, the corrupt deep state media can do what it does best when it comes to Donald Trump: Attack, attack, attack.
Give the man no quarter. Disparage and denounce him 24/7. Try to convince the 77 million Americans who voted for him that they elected a dictator, a tyrant, a buffoon. To do that, the left-leaning media will dissect Trump’s every word, and then distort what he says.
Produce one story after another that portrays Donald Trump as an unworthy occupant of the White House, a fraudulent usurper, a demon to be exorcised from the nation’s political cathedrals.
Watch how the White House press corps, AKA Democrat Party toadies, suddenly transforms itself from a passive collection of leftist bobbleheads into a slithering rhumba of rattlesnakes, ready to strike as soon as Trump’s press secretary walks behind the podium.
While whoever assumes that job won’t need to constantly consult a thick binder of data like the incompetent and bungling Karin Jean Pierre always did, he or she might want to consider wearing snake boots and perhaps plenty of Kevlar.
I hope the next White House Press Secretary is an uncompromising and formidable journalist with significant and indisputable journalistic chops—not a weedy mouthpiece like KJP and many of today’s corrupt media hacks.
Trump will need somebody who can stand up to the assaults that will emanate from the hissing nest of media vipers.
Then, there is the transition from the Biden administration to the incoming Trump team.
How will that go?
Already, Democrat operatives are talking about how to “Trump proof” the policies that the Biden administration plans to implement before January 20, when Donald Trump takes over.
There will be a peaceful transfer of power. Trump’s landslide victory in winning both the electoral college and the popular vote ensures that.
But do not discount the angry Biden/Harris underlings who still occupy the White House’s West and East Wing offices, as well as the hoard of leftist bureaucrats who inhabit dozens of administrative offices throughout Washington.
These are not happy campers. They already demonstrated how much they hated Donald Trump during his first administration by setting up administrative and legal roadblocks for almost every policy he attempted to implement.
Washington’s bureaucrats—80 percent of whom are Democrats—will do whatever they can to impede Trump. Washington D.C. is not only the U.S. Capital; it is also a Democratic Party company town. In case you were unaware, here’s a stark fact about the 2024 election: 92.59 percent of Washington D.C. residents (including thousands of those bureaucrats) voted for Kamala Harris and just 6.57 percent for Donald Trump.
That’s the leftist swamp Trump is about to enter.
But the new president-elect is ready for them. There will be considerable house cleaning at the leadership levels in critical agencies such as the State Department, the Department of Justice, the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Interior, the Federal Communications Commission, the Secretary of Defense, the assorted departments like Education, Energy, Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, Labor, Treasury, Veterans Affairs, and Health and Human Services.
Heads will roll in all these agencies—and they should.
Trump cannot afford to allow his opponents to sabotage his policies and programs as he did during this first administration.
Bringing trustworthy people into the tent like Elon Musk (who may head a new Department of Government Efficiency), Tulsi Gabbard (former Democrat-turned-Republican congresswoman & avid Trump supporter), Brooke Rollins (CEO of the America First Policy Institute), Robert F. Kennedy Jr., ( who may have a czar-like position in the area of health), Richard Grenell (Trump’s ambassador to Germany & acting director of National Intelligence), and John Ratcliffe (Trump’s former Director of National Intelligence), to name a few, will be critical.
Trump has already made history by naming Susie Wiles his White House Chief of Staff–the first woman ever to hold that post. Wiles was the brilliant co-chair of Trump’s 2024 campaign.
Unlike 2016, Trump will surround himself with loyal supporters—not the traitorous snakes that inhabited the White House eight years ago.
I believe Trump has learned from excruciating experience how to traverse and avoid the ubiquitous traps and pitfalls of the treacherous Washington political swamp.
If he hasn’t, we are in for another four years of exhausting political disorder and chaos.
Trump must remember this one salient fact: He has few trustworthy friends in Washington. And I’m not just talking about frenzied, hate-filled Democrats. I’m talking about Washington’s ubiquitous nests of malicious RINOs (Republicans in Name Only).
Remember Liz Cheney and Adam Kinsinger? There are plenty of their two-faced ilk lurking in the swamp.
I don’t envy president-elect Trump. He has a veritable army of opponents girding their loins in preparation for his arrival— unethical journalists, dishonorable bureaucrats, fraudulent RINOs, and hordes of hateful Democrats in Congress.
On the other hand, I can’t think of a better man to face down these venomous creatures.
After all, the guy survived two assassination attempts, months of exhausting bogus lawfare attacks, a sitting president and vice-president who constantly vilified and slandered him, and a mass media that calls him “deranged,” “unhinged,” “unfit,” and a fascist dictator.
Other than that, Mr. Trump, welcome to Washington.
